WEDDING DAY
TELL US ABOUT YOUR WEDDING DAY We were very lucky really when we were making decisions on our venue and style of our wedding. I work as a wedding photographer so kind of had a head start! We chose to get married at Kendal registry office as Sam grew up in Kendal and still has family in the area. When we were deciding on our reception venue we both fell completely in love with High Close Youth Hostel in The Lake District, a rambling Victorian mansion with open fires and gorgeous grounds set right in the Langdales. We were looking for something different from the hotel and sit down meal and wanted the day just to be really informal. High Close gave us a free reign to make the day completely our own.
Every moment was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing!

smile every time I think about it! Every moment was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing! We had lovely sunshine (and a bit of rain, but we didn't care!) Surrounded by family and friends and everyone having a really good time. We had a hog roast in the day time with a buffet laid on by the Croziers (who are brilliant!) and lamb tagine in the evening, made by the matron of honour's lovely husband! (thank you Neil you're a star!)
We had live music from friends and then DJ's on the evening. We decorated the venue with the help of family and friends sticking to our white, black and pink theme.
