WEDDING DAY...

We chose the Greenhill Hotel near Wigton, its a beautiful historic venue, we used the Dining Room for the ceremony which was really luxurious. Having the whole day in one place made logistics a lot simpler, and the staff were absolutely fantastic.

The photographs by Rob Grange were excellent and he really got involved and helped to make the day run smoothly. Even recommended us getting dancing lessons to avoid embarrassment! We had a snow machine for the photographs outside the hotel and with the Christmas decorations inside, all added to the winter theme.
 
The day ran smoothly and in the evening the guests enjoyed the buffet and traditional sweeties laid on, adults and children alike. We danced the night away to local DJ and disco Dynamic

Entertainment from Harrington who were excellent, unobtrusive, took requests, happy to arrange playlists with us. Also, didn't charge a premium just because it was a wedding.

YOUR HONEYMOON

We made our own arrangements and went to Paris for 7 nights - which turned into 9 when our flight was cancelled at the last minute!

OUR THANKS TO...

Our families, and all our guests (especially those who had to make extra long trips due to the bridges collapsing) who all generously contributed to us being able to afford a Honeymoon to remember on top of a wonderful wedding day.
 
We'd also like to mention Floral Design from Workington who managed to get us more or less everything we needed despite being affected by the heavy flooding, and Reay's Coaches, who were great, and put up with a lot of phone calls from us to fine tune the details.

ADVICE FOR BRIDES-TO-BE...

Our advice - take it all in as much as you can, the day seems to go by way too fast, it will be over before you know it. Also, try and have something planned to look forward to after your Honeymoon - the comedown is masssive!
