Low House is a Grade 2-Listed Georgian house set in some 3 acres of gardens surrounded by parkland with views down to the River Eden and the fells beyond. The gardens are ideally suited to host marquees on the lawns to the front and rear of the house with a large area for car-parking beyond the front lawn.
 
We have restrictions on the number of guests we can cater for inside the house but for events held in marquees the guest numbers are much more flexible.
 
There are three Anglican Churches nearby (Armathwaite, Ainstable and High Hesket) all within 15 minutes drive of the house and we are happy to arrange an introduction with the Rector of our Group of Churches to explore this potential avenue further. There is a Catholic Church a similar distance away (Warwick Bridge), as well as in Penrith.
 
We have approval to host Civil Ceremonies in the house and are licensed to hold Civil Weddings and Civil Partnerships in a choice of four rooms in the house with guest numbers restricted to approximately fifty.
